Quiet House

Located in a village in the south of France, the project of "quiet villa" meets a very particular context. The land on which it fits, of very small size, is located between a vineyard shed in operation to the West, the parking of a neighbor to the East, surrounded by their access road, a main street to the south. Oriented to the North, it is also subject to a regime of prevailing winds. But it enjoys an exceptional and breathtaking view on the valley. The aim of the project is therefore to create the conditions for an intimacy, an introverted house, hidden from the sight, entirely turned towards the landscape. Its architecture is characterized by a regular, simple and systematic composition, using a banal constructive language and an obvious formal register, which, by disrupting the codes of the usual, gives a singular aesthetic to be seen.

Using regular measures, the project is based on a grid of 3m in width and 4m in depth. Two units of space correspond to a built volume, the third forms an outer space. The overall geometry of the house is based on a repeated sequence of four volumes, inscribed in a regular pattern, enclosed within a peripheral wall, and organizing four courtyards within the dwelling. Their form, with two slopes of roof, evokes a small house. One the one side, the expression of the project refers directly to the question of domesticity and traditional individual habitat, as well as the constructive means employed, banal and typical of the south of France (masonry, plaster, roof tile) create a contextual, cultural and landscape link between the construction and its site. One the other side, its compositional play and its lack of lateral opening make it a strange architectural object. A large fixed frame opens wide the house on the landscape.

Its powerful contrast between its opaque and closed external appearance and the intensity of the light provided by courtyards, gives strength to its interior space. All rooms open on one, two or three courtyards and the panorama, through a single system of aligned glass doors. The same flooring is used throughout the project, which creates confusion between the spaces of the house and those of the courtyards, which are real living rooms and extensions of the interior spaces, allowing to be inside while being outside.

Some signs make its mediterranean lifestyle tangible : a steel grid with reminiscent motifs of « moucharabieh », an entrance opening on a courtyard , a very white coating reflecting light and summer heat ... With its great brightness in all seasons, its an animated picture on the landscape in the background, or its changing looks on the sky, the home offers a serene poetic, and intimate living environment. The quiet villa, thus creating its context, its way of life, shows by very simple means, the possible offered by the architecture.

조용한 별장

프랑스 남부의 한 마을에 위치한 "조용한 별장" 프로젝트는 매우 특별한 상황에 부합한다. 대가는 매우 작은 프로젝트로 서쪽에는 포도원 창고가 있고, 동쪽에는 이웃의 주차가 대지로의 진입로 중심길에 둘러 싸여 있다. 북쪽을 향하여, 그것은 또한 우세한 바람의 지배를 받는다. 하지만 계곡에서 볼 수 있는 예외적이고 숨막히는 광경을 즐긴다. 따라서 이 프로젝트의 목적은 친밀감을 위한 조건을 만들어 내는 것인데, 시야에서 숨겨진 내향적인 집을 전적으로 경관 쪽으로 돌리는 것이다. 그것의 구조는 규칙적이고 단순하며 체계적인 구성으로 특징 지어진다.

평범한 건설적인 언어와 명백한 공식 등록물을 사용하는 것은, 일상적인 규칙을 깨뜨림으로써, 특이하게도 볼 수 있는 미적 요소를 제공한다. 정기적 인 측정을 통해 프로젝트는 너비 3m, 깊이 4m의 그리드를 기반으로 한다. 2개의 단위 공간이 하나의 볼륨에 해당하며, 세 번째 단위 공간은 외부 공간을 형성한다. 주택의 전반적인 기하학적 구조는 규칙적인 패턴으로 새겨 져 있고, 주변 벽에 둘러싸여 있고 주거지 내에서 4개의 안뜰을 조직하는 4권의 반복된 순서를 기반으로 한다. 두 개의 지붕 경사면을 가진 형태는 작은 집을 연상 시킨다.

한편으로, 이 프로젝트의 표현은 가정과 전통적 개인의 서식지에 관한 문제를 직접적으로 언급하는 것은 물론 프랑스의 남부 지역에서 전형적으로 사용되는 건설적인 수단(석조술, 석고, 지붕 타일)은 그 건축물과 그 부지 사이에 맥락, 문화 및 조경의 연결고리를 만든다. 하나의 다른 측면으로는 그것의 구성적인 플레이와 측면적인 오프닝의 부족이 그것을 이상한 건축물로 만든다. 크고 고정된 액자가 있어서 그 집의 경치를 활짝 열었다. 불투명한 외관과 닫힌 외부 외관 사이의 강력한 대비와 콘솔이 제공하는 빛의 강도는 내부 공간에 힘을 준다. 모든 방은 정렬된 유리문의 단일 시스템을 통해 하나, 둘 또는 세개의 안뜰과 파노라로 열린다. 프로젝트 전반에 걸쳐 동일한 바닥재가 사용되어 집안 공간과 안뜰 공간의 혼란을 야기한다.

안뜰 공간은 실제 거실과 내부 공간을 확장하여 외부에있는 동안 내부에있을 수 있다. 어떤 사인은 지중해의 생활 방식을 구체적으로 보여 준다. «moucharabieh»의 모티프를 연상시키는 강철 격자, 안뜰 입구 입구, 빛과 여름 열을 반사하는 흰색 코팅 ... 모든 계절에 커다란 밝기가 있으며, 배경에있는 풍경, 또는 하늘에서의 변화하는 모습에 집은 고요한 시적이며 친밀한 생활 환경을 제공한다. 따라서 조용한 별장은 삶의 맥락, 삶의 방식을 만들어 내며, 건축이 제공할 수 있는 가능성을 아주 간단하게 나마 보여준다.
