Aedas-designed Unilever Headquarters in Jakarta is located in the BSD Green Office Park, the country’s first green office district which was also materplanned by Aedas. This new Unilever Indonesia office houses all employees from four separate offices in Jakarta under one roof. Aedas architectural and interior designs embody the global company’s vision, values and European heritage within the Indonesian context. The new building is designed with the concept to support the spirit of community, collaboration, engagement and agility. Referenced to the traditional village planning in Indonesia, it has a ‘square’, ‘main roads’, and ‘streets’ to create a sense of community.

The planning is focused on engaging group and individual work into zones to induce collaboration while maintaining privacy. The top four floors are office spaces with break-out areas; while the ground floor is dedicated to public and shared facilities. Surrounding the central, light-filled atrium that serves as a large event space are common facilities including a mosque, staff dining area, day care centre, fitness centre, beauty salon and multi-purpose hall. All community spaces are well connected to encourage interaction and embrace diversity.

Indonesian batik fabrics, recycled teak timber, furniture and imagery of Indonesia used throughout the headquarters create a sense of place. The building curtain wall system maximises daylight penetration. The facade is clad with grey aluminum blade louvers of varying depth to provide shading and reduce heat gain. There are no enclosed offices in order to provide best access to natural light and views for all staff. Enclosed meeting rooms are placed around the core. The indentations on the facade create indoor and outdoor green pockets. Each of the four building wings are  connected by piazzas which are located where the building is indented. There are also outdoor landscaped decks and rooftop for staff and guests to enjoy. This is a uniquely Indonesia headquarters building that incorporates three key elements of Indonesian culture - community, diversity and nature - into the design.

유니레버 본사 사옥 

자카르타(Jakarta)에 있는 유니레버 본사 사옥은 Aedas가 계획한 최초의 녹색 사무소 지역인 BSD Green Office Park에 위치해 있다. 이 새로운 유니레버 인도네시아 사무소에는 자카르타의 4개 사무소의 모든 직원이 한 지붕 아래에 있다. Aedas는 인도네시아의 맥락 안에서 글로벌 기업의 비전, 가치 및 유럽 유산을 구현한다. 새 본사 건물은 공동체 정신, 협업, 참여, 민첩성의 개념으로 설계되었다.

인도네시아의 전통마을 계획에는 ‘광장’, ‘주요도로’, ‘거리’가 있으며 이것이 공동체 의식을 형성하고 있다. 계획은 그룹 및 개인 작업을 영역에 참여시키면서 프라이버시를 유지하고 공동 작업을 유도하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 상위 4개층은 분업 공간이 있는 사무실 공간이며, 1층은 공공시설과 공유시설이다. 넓은 행사 공간 역할을 하는 밝은 채광의 중앙 아트리움 주변에는 모스크, 직원 식당, 탁아소, 피트니스 센터, 미용실 및 다목적 홀을 포함한 일반적인 시설들이 있다.

모든 공동체 공간은 상호작용을 장려하고 다양성을 수용하기 위해 잘 연결되어 있다. 인도네시아의 밀랍 염색 직물, 재활용된 티크 목재, 가구 및 본사 전체에 사용된 인도네시아의 이미지가 장소감을 만들어낸다. 건물 커튼월 시스템은 일광 투과율을 극대화한다.

입면은 다양한 깊이의 회색 알루미늄 블레이드 루버로 덮여 있어, 음영을 제공하고 열 발생을 감소시킨다. 모든 직원이 자연광과 전망을 가질 수 있도록 밀폐된 사무실 공간이 없다. 닫힌 회의실 공간이 중심부에 배치되어 있다. 입면의 움푹 들어간 부분은 실내와 실외 녹색 주머니를 만든다. 네 개의 건물 날개에는 각각 건물이 움푹 들어간 곳에 위치한 광장으로 연결되어 있다. 또한 직원들과 손님들이 즐길 수 있는 야외 조경과 옥상도 있다. 이 건물은 인도네시아 문화의 세 가지 핵심 요소인 커뮤니티, 다양성, 자연을 디자인에 통합한 독특한 인도네시아 본사 건물이다.
