The site contains ruins that form part of the UNESCO Pearling Path. The entire building functions as the entrance to the cultural heritage and the foyer for the medina. It is an urban room for the people of Muharraq with the scale of a public park.
Concrete elements are placed along the property boundary to form a new locus in the dense city. A large space is created in which a forest of columns and wind towers hold a horizontal plate 10 meters above ground.
A roof, understood as an archaic gesture, donates vital shadows for the people of Muharraq in this very hot climate and produces a new and unique situation through its different scale.
Slightly set back in the shadow is an enigmatic house in which the museum of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage is located.
As a totality the building creates a universe in itself that is the entrance for the Pearling Path and the city beyond.
유네스코 사이트 박물관과 입구
대지는 유네스코 Pearling Path의 일부를 형성하는 유적지를 포함한다. 전체 건물은 메디나 지역 문화유산의 입구이자 로비로서 기능한다. 이곳은 무하라크 사람들을 위한 규모가 있는 공원을 가진 도시 공간이다.
밀집한 도시에 새로운 중심지를 형성하는 사유지의 경계를 따라 콘크리트 요소가 위치한다. 기둥의 숲과 바람막이가 땅에서 10m 위에 수평의 슬래브를 지탱하면서 커다란 공간이 만들어진다.
고대의 표현(Gesture)으로서 이해할 수 있는 지붕은 매우 무더운 기후에서 무하라크의 사람들에게 중요한 그림자를 제공하고 제각각 다른 크기를 통해 새롭고 독특한 상황을 만든다.
그림자에서 조금 물러난 곳은 유네스코 세계문화유산 박물관이 위치한 불가사의한 집이다.
전체로서 건물은 Pearling Path와 도시의 입구를 넘어서 우주를 만든다.
