Weekend House in Beskydy

An extraordinary place in the southern part of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. Mountain landscape with almost no other buildings nearby - with the exception of just few scattered homesteads. The plot borders on the road from the upper part and is formed by a wild mountain meadow sloping down to a wooded shadowy gully with a flowing brook. Centre of the design was searched in the primordial mountain atmosphere. The process was none too easy, being significantly influenced by the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area Administration and its rigid building regulations. They aimed to the material which could express the context and serve as a pivotal conceptual guideline. Concrete and larch wood. How can characteristic features of these materials, contrasting to a large degree, be used in the best way and with minimal means. Heaviness and lightness. Concrete embodies the heavy hollow platform, partially burrowed into the earth surface, with almost cave atmosphere. It hides larch bedroom cabins and service house spaces. Two light larch boards, holding the free-flowing space with open views into mountain scenery, were then supported against each other on this piece of rock. The undisrupted surrounding landscape around the house continues to flow almost unnoticed. The concrete shall turn grey and overgrow with moss, the larch wood shall gain greyish-silver patina, and the access path from sandstone stones shall be barely seen in the meadow grass.

베스키디 주말주택은 모라비안 실레지안 베스키디(Moravian-Silesian Beskydy)의 남부에 위치한다. 산재한 홈스테이 몇 개를 제외하고는 근처에 다른 건물이 거의 없는 산악 풍경이다. 대지의 경계는 위쪽부터 길가에 접해 있고, 흐르는 시냇물과 함께 나무가 우거진 그늘진 협곡까지 경사진 야생 초원으로 형성되어 있다. 디자인의 중심은 원시적인 산 분위기에서 시작되었다. 이 과정은 매우 쉽지 않았으며 베스키디 조경 보호 구역(Beskydy Protected Landscape Area Administration)과 엄격한 건축 규정의 영향을 많이 받아 창의적이고 혁신적인 접근 방식을 훨씬 복잡하게 만들었다. 첫 번째 아이디어는 공간과 볼륨과는 관련이 없었다. 맥락을 표현하고 핵심 개념 가이드라인이 될 수 있는 자료를 목표로 했다. 큰 각도의 지붕은 콘크리트와 낙엽송이라는 자재의 특징을 그대로 드러내는 방법으로 사용되어 있다. 무거움과 가벼움. 콘크리트는 거의 동굴 분위기로 땅의 표면에 부분적으로 파묻혀 무거운 중공 플랫폼을 구현한다. 그리고 낙엽송의 침실 오두막과 서비스 공간을 숨긴다. 두 개의 가벼운 낙엽송 판재는 산의 경치를 볼 수 있는 자유로이 흐르는 공간을 잡으며 이 바위 조각 위에서 서로 받쳐져 있다. 집 주변 경치는 거의 눈에 띄지 않게 계속 흐른다. 콘크리트는 회색을 띠며 이끼로 뒤덮이게 되고, 낙엽송은 회색 빛의 은빛 녹청색을 띠며 사암 돌의 접근로는 초원의 잔디에서는 거의 보이지 않는다.
