The Fuego Nuevo chapel is conceived as a space where natural light is an essential part of the architecture. The structure works as a unity of the columns, walls, beams and slabs. They remain as bare and heavy elements and are constantly repeated generating a rhythm of solids and voids that allow natural light to play its role as a protagonist. We aimed to work with low-maintenance materials that could age with dignity.

A semi-basement that has a multipurpose room, an inter-axis of services and vertical circulations, and the most intimate space of the church where the ossuaries are located. The latter is a space where natural light does not enter. It was designed as a space where users could have a moment with their. The 1st floor level is the space of the main nave with a capacity for approximately 360 parishioners, this space is reached from the north by means of a ramp that runs through a large part of the facade that faces the street and defines the basement of the temple, it also functions as a walkway that shows the rhythm of the facade until one reaches the main esplanade. It can be accessed from the street by the main staircase that surrounds the oak and is embraced by the volume that protrudes from the basement and the oak planter.

A low height of the exterior overhang extends to the edge of the mezzanine (where the choir is located), forming a cross on the facade in a very subtle way. Passing the mezzanine, the space in double height with chiaroscuro dominates the visuals with the presbytery and altar in the background, formed by two blocks of black Monterrey marble that function as the altar table and the ambo. The concrete that is the solid base of the building, the glass that allows natural light to function as part of the architecture, the natural wood, the travertine marble in all the floors, selected from Puebla, and the blocks of black Monterrey marble, which were extracted and selected from the quarry located on the Cerro del Topo Chico, in San Nicolas.

자연빛을 스미게 하는 콘크리트, 푸에고 누에보 교회 
기둥, 벽, 보, 슬래브가 연합하여 구조를 이루며, 이 부분들은 헐벗고 묵직한 요소로 남아 있고 끊임없이 반복되어 자연광이 주인공의 역할을 할 수 있도록 하는 채움과 비움의 리듬을 생산한다. 이러한 작업은 위엄있게 노화될 수 있는 유지 관리가 쉬운 재료로 작업하는 것을 목표로 했다.
반지하 공간에는 다목적실, 서비스와 수직적 순환 축 사이의 공간, 납골당이 위치한 교회의 가장 은밀한 공간이 있다. 납골당은 자연광이 들어오지 않는 공간으로, 이용자들이 잠시나마 고인과 함께할 수 있는 공간으로 디자인되었다. 1층은 약 360명의 신도를 수용할 수 있는 본당으로, 이 공간은 북쪽에서 거리를 바라보며 교회의 지하 공간을 정의하는 파사드의 대부분을 통과하는 경사로를 통해 들어갈 수 있다. 이 공간은 메인 에스플러네이드에 도달할 때까지 파사드의 리듬을 보여주는 통로 역할도 하며, 참나무를 둘러싸고 있는 주 계단을 통해 거리에서 접근할 수 있고, 지하실과 참나무 화분에서 돌출된 매스에 의해 포용된다.

외부 돌출부의 낮은 높이는 중이층(성가대가 있는 곳)의 가장자리까지 확장되어 절묘한 방식으로 정면에 십자가를 형성한다. 중이층을 지나면 키아로스쿠로 작품이 있는 두 배 높이의 공간이 사제석과 제단으로 시선이 사로잡힌다. 이곳은 제단 탁자와 설교단 역할을 하는 두 개의 검은색 몬테레이 대리로 형성되었다. 건물의 견고한 기초가 되는 콘크리트, 자연광이 건축물의 일부로 작용할 수 있도록 하는 유리, 천연 나무, 푸에블라에서 채택된 모든 바닥에 사용된 트래버틴 대리석, 산 니콜라스의 세로 델 토포 치코에 위치한 채석장에서 추출 및 선택된 블랙 몬테레이 대리석 등, 이 교회를 구성하는 재료는 대부분이 누에보 레온의 산업 유산의 일부이기 때문에 전체적인 콘셉트를 형성하는 데 특별한 의미가 있다.
