TTARO TTO GACHI HOUSE

TTaro TTo Gachi(meaning is ‘Separately and together’) house is located between close houses on both sides of the complex. Is it possible to have a structure that does not interfere with your gaze from any direction while paying attention to the land located in the housing complex and the harmony with the surroundings? The width of the land with a long width is a structure adjacent to the road in the complex. It was designed to fit the structure of this complex.

The owner couple, who have two sons of college students, wanted a design that could be satisfied with the couple's lifestyle as well as the independent space of the grown-up children, and later separated into two generations, so the design was planned based on concerns about separation, fusion, and contact. A deep plane was placed inward along the shape of the land, and the focus was on the solution on lighting. Natural lighting is possible from the porch and courtyard, which correspond to the waist dance of the architecture, so when you enter the porch, the light is brightly welcomed. The space adjacent to bathrooms, restaurants, and rooftop terraces, which are extremely personal or diversely utilized spaces, consists of extremely satisfying spaces only for residential generations by blocking the view from the outside through opening and closing of walls. The courtyard and backyard protect the privacy of the resident generation and at the same time serve as a passage between space and space, enabling simple but clear movements and clean views. The living rooms designed side by side on the first and second floors created a panoramic open view by installing large windows on the corner side as a result of the planning intention aimed at the view, and although it is a small backyard, the light leaking through the bathroom on the second floor also created a satisfying healing space. The backyard space is also planned to allow natural lighting and natural ventilation through safe viewing processing even if the window is opened while blocking the view from the outside and introducing light.

TTaro TTo Gachi house has a narrow front seen from the side of the road, so it was a project with many concerns about how to take the shape of the house. It's better not to break the mass by mixing different ingredients on the narrow side. As a result of intending the form of a house that looks neat and cozy, the material was unified, and the detailed part of the mass was utilized to highlight the volume of the shape. The owner couple, who hang out with many people nearby, expected a large front yard as well as a rooftop space with a clean view, but as houses are arranged close to each other, the walls on the side are raised high to form a private space for their families. Regardless of the gaze of others, both the owner and Awesome architects could be satisfied with the appearance of the protruding wall that arranges the elevation and the area of the private and public space through lightening. What should sustainable architecture contain in an era when the ever-changing curriculum according to various cultures, education, and lifestyles is reflected? I try to capture the same value required by the present era.

따로 또 가치 주택은 단지 내 양옆의 밀접한 주택 사이에 있다. 주택단지 내 자리 잡은 땅에, 주변과 어울림도 신경을 쓰면서 어느 방향에서나 시선을 방해받지 않는 구조가 가능할까?

대학생 아들 둘을 둔 건축주 부부는 장성한 아이들의 독립적인 공간은 물론, 부부의 생활 방식에도 만족할 수 있고, 차후에는 두 세대로도 각각 공간 분리가 될 수 있는 공간을 원했다. 대지의 형태를 따라 안 쪽으로 긴 평면이 만들어졌으며, 채광에 대한 해결책이 필요했다. 주택 평면을 보면 허리춤에 해당하는 부분에 현관과 중정이 있어, 이 곳을 통해 햇빝을 받을 수 있는 충분한 공간이 확보됐다. 지극히 개인적인 혹은 다양한 활용을 하는 공간인 욕실과 식당, 옥상 테라스에 접한 공간은 벽면의 여닫음을 통해 내부에서는 공간을 확장하고, 외부에서는 시야를 차단한다.

중정과 후정은 거주 세대의 사생활을 보호해줌과 동시에 통로 역할도 하며 단순하지만 명확한 동선을 가지게 한다 1, 2층 나란히 있는 거실은 코너면에 큰 창이 연속적으로 이어지며 파노라마 형식의 개방된 전망을 볼 수 있다. 작은 후정은 공간 틈 사이로 빛이 새어 들어온다. 후정 공간은 1층 주방에 있는 창에서도 보인다. 사람들과 어울려 지내는 건축주 부부는 넓은 앞마당은 물론, 뷰가 시원하게 트인 옥상정원을 원했지만, 양옆으로 다른 주택들이 가깝게 배치된 상황이라 측면의 벽을 높게 올릴 수 밖에 없었다. 돌출 벽과 가벽을 통해 개인공간과 공용공간이 구분되면서도 적절하게 섞여 있다. 따로 또 가치 주택은 도로변에서 보이는 좁은 전면부가 정갈하면서도 아늑해 보이는 집의 형태를 보여준다. 외관 재료는 통일되어 매스의 디테일한 부분은 드러나며 형태의 볼륨감을 부각한다.
