This project, designed as a space to exhibit Memphis furniture, incorporates iconic elements of the Memphis style, including geometric shapes and freeform compositions, into its spatial design. The facade, based on the design concept of "cliff," is made of wavy stainless-steel sheets creating a mesmerizing visual effect. A large exclamation mark at the building's entrance emphasizes and guides visitors into the unknown interior space.

 

The unique combination of geometric forms in the interior creates spatial rhythms and enriches the visual experience. The exhibition area, based on a visual frame, disrupts and recombines perspectives, making the act of observation more enjoyable.

멤피스 가구를 전시하기 위한 공간으로 계획된 본 프로젝트는 기하학적인 모양과 자유로운 구성을 포함한 멤피스 스타일의 대표적인 요소들이 공간구성에 적용되었다. “Cliff”의 디자인 개념에 기초한 물결무늬 스테인레스 스틸 시트로 만들어진 입면은 기이한 시각적 효과를 가진다. 건물의 입구에는 커다란 느낌표가 강조되어 방문객을 미지의 내부공간으로 안내한다. 기하학적 형태의 독특한 조합으로 구성된 내부는 공간적 리듬을 생성하고 시각적 경험을 풍부하게 한다. 전시영역은 시각적 프레임을 기반으로 시야를 단절하고 재결합하여 관찰하는 행위를 더욱 즐겁게 만든다.
