Bamboo Bamboo, Canopy and Pavilions, Impression Sanjie Liu

This project was developed while maintaining most of the existing Impression Sanjie Liu Performance Building, which has been in operation for 15 years. Currently, a vast bamboo cluster covers most of the site, creating a structure where pipes and leaves intertwine. The new space harmonizes with the existing elements while introducing new spaces, utilizing the characteristics of bamboo in the process. The goal is to naturally fill the surroundings with bamboo forests and hills. The structure of the canopy, supported by tube-like columns, is not visible on the spot. It features a woven ceiling with a reversed landscape form, undulating between surfaces of different heights. This expands an understanding of nature and captivates people's fascination with it.

이 프로젝트는 15년째 운영 중인 기존 인상유삼저(Impression Sanjie Liu) 공연의 건물의 대부분을 그대로 유지하며 진행했다. 현재는 거대한 대나무 군집이 대부분의 부지를 덮고 있고 파이프와 잎이 서로 어우러진 구조를 만들어내고 있다. 새로운 공간은 기존에 있던 것들과 통일시키며 동시에 새로운 공간을 만들어내려 했고, 그 과정에서 대나무의 특성을 이용했다. 자연스럽게 주변을 대나무 숲과 언덕으로 채워 나가는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 종잡을 수 없는 튜브형 기둥으로 지지되는 캐노피의 구조는 그 자리에서는 보이지 않으며, 서로 다른 높이의 표면 사이에서 물결치며 뒤바뀐 풍경의 형태를 안고 있는 직조된 형태의 천장을 가지고 있다. 이로써 자연에 대한 인지를 넓히고 이것에 매료되도록 의도했다.
