Changwon NC Park is not just a common stadium, but an urban baseball park where you can enjoy baseball games and family picnic in the park. It has not only 72 days of home games per year, but also citizens can enjoy the park, the always-on restaurant, and the Dinos fan store throughout a year.

At the design phase, HAEAHN reviewed various professional elementsof the baseball field to provide best conditions for the players. The concourse, which is connected from the park to in-field concourse with slope throughout the baseball stadium. Crowd can move easily and quickly from the seats to toilets and F&B booths within the open concourse. The outfield safety fence considering safety of the players as the top priority, the locker room and the bullpen connected to the inside, the LED light considering the view of the baseball players, and the optimum location of the broadcasting camera have been introduced for better picture. In addition, it is major issue for the optimal viewing terraces plan and safety of the crowd.

From the second floor, a sports glass is installed instead of a common steel handrail that can interfere with the spectator’s view, and the view is secured by reducing the number of netting rods for safety net at backstop. The distance between the first row and the field is as short as 14.7m so that spectators will be able to enjoy the game at a closer distance. You can also plan a variety of event seats and various size skyboxes to give you a new experience of watching the game. It is easier to manage stadiums by planning separate spaces for the club.

창원NC파크

창원NC파크는 단순한 경기장 시설이 아닌, 놀이와 휴식이 있는 공원 속에서 야구 경기를 즐기는 특별한 도심형 야구장이다. 연간 72일의 홈경기 이벤트뿐만 아니라 365일 시민들이 즐길 수 있는 공원과 상시 운영하는 레스토랑과 다이노스 팬 스토어(Dinos Fan Store)까지 갖춘 곳이다.

기본설계 단계에서 해안건축은 최신 MLB(Major League Baseball)식 야구장이 갖는 다양한 전문적인 요소를 검토하여 선수들이 최상의 경기를 펼칠 수 있는 환경을 계획하였다. 외야 공원에서부터 단차 없이 연결되는 콘코스(Concourse)는 야구장 전체로 이어지고 각 층으로 엘리베이터와에스컬레이터가 바로 연결되어 있다. 관중들은 좌석에서 화장실 및 F&B 부스로 쉽고 빠르게 이동할 수 있고 오픈형으로 계획된 콘코스로 이동 중에도 경기를 관람할 수 있다. 선수들의 안전을 최우선으로 고려한 외야 안전 펜스, 라커룸과 내부로 연결된 불펜, 선수들의 시야를 고려한 조명시설, 방송용 카메라의 위치까지 그동안 국내에 적용되지 않았던 야구장의 디테일을 가지고 있다. 또한 관람객들이 최적의 관람 환경과 안전을 보장받도록 작은 부분까지 설계되었다.

2층은 관람객의 시선을 방해할 수 있는 핸드레일 대신 스포츠글래스가 설치되었으며, 1층 내야는 안전 그물 설치를 위한 그물망 봉의 개수를 줄여 관람객을 만족시킨다. 관람석과 필드의 짧은 거리(14.7m)로 관람객은 가까운 거리에서 선수들의 경기를 지켜볼 수 있다. 여러 이벤트 좌석과 다양한 크기의 스카이박스도 마련되어 관람객에게 새로운 경기 관람의 경험을 선사한다. 더불어 선수와 팬들뿐만 아니라 구단 사무실과 구단 직원을 위한 별도의 공간이 마련되어 경기장 관리도 용이하다.
