The site is located in the northeast corner. The north side of the site facing the schoolyard and children’s park. Precinct was bad ventilated in often because of the extension has been building and trees. And it was in a state of lack of cleanliness of as a religious space.
Main hall is kept to a refurbishment, the north side of the site became totally parking. Housing and office it was one of the building. Housing and office clearly indicates that the different functions as a space.
The outer wall of the office is a grilled cedar planking. It was set to evoke a plate fence that separates the parking lot and grounds.
Residential interior becomes a separate space from the other temple space, It has been consideration as protect the family’s privacy. Since reception hall is to provide the visitor a more relaxed atmosphere, It was arranged to be directed to the innermost site through the yard.
Eaves of the reception hall are kept low, It lead the diffused light from the north in the precincts. At the same time the courtyard of Shirakawa sand was planned so as to reflect the light into the reception hall. Main shrine represents the figure of the time erected, clean air is full of the precincts.
It was reborn as a new space for prayer, and as a beloved landmark in the area. In the future, we hope to be loved as a
symbol of the region familiar to the surrounding landscape over the years.
슈뉴지
대지는 북동쪽 모서리에 자리하고 있으며, 대지 북측면은 학교 운동장과 어린이 공원을 마주하고 있다. 대지 일대는 건물과 나무가 무성해 통풍이 원활하지 않았다. 따라서 종교 시설로는 쾌적성이 부족한 상태였다. 중앙홀은 그대로 남겨 재단장했고, 대지 북쪽 영역은 주차장 전용 구역으로 조성했다.
건물은 주택과 오피스를 포함하고 있다. 주택과 오피스는 공간적으로 다른 기능을 지니고 있음을 명확하게 보여준다. 오피스 외벽은 삼목판으로 마감했고, 주차장과 마당을 분리해주는 울타리 역할을 하도록 했다. 주택 실내 영역은 사원 영역과 분리된 독립 공간이다. 이는 거주자 가족의 사생활 보호를 위한 배려였다.
리셉션은 방문객에게 보다 편안한 느낌을 줄 수 있도록 마당을 지나 가장 안쪽 영역으로 직접 이어지도록 설계했다. 리셉션의 처마는 낮게 설치해 북향의 빛이 안으로 들어올 수 있도록 했다. 아울러 시라카와 모래 마당을 계획해 빛이 반사되어 리셉션으로 유입될 수 있도록 했다. 사원 본체는 사원 설립 연도를 상징하고, 공간은 상쾌한 공기로 가득하다.
사원은 새로운 기도원이자 지역의 소중한 랜드마크로 다시 태어났다. 장차 시간이 지나면서 주변 풍경에 익숙한 지역의 상징으로서 사랑받는 사원이 되기를 바란다.
