Based on a minimalist architectural style that combines comfort with ecological sustainability, Amaya is a luxury project designed that has the objective to provide an xperience of constant connection to the natural environment of the Maya Riviera. This project is inspired by the idea of houses in a village, in which every unit is able to enjoy personal independence due to the sensation of permeability and continuous connection with the outdoors and the exuberant tropical vegetation of Tulum.

The concept and distribution are based on ten superimposed elements that always respond to two situations within the project, an interior view (common areas) and an exterior view (the environment), allowing for visual fluidity between the interior and exterior spaces, taking into account the privacy of the inhabitants. Each unit possesses a specific positioning in relation to the whole, which generates in each one of them a different form and offering, including single units as well as duplex and triplex.

The project presents a scheme of 10 units in four levels that range from 72㎡ to 292㎡. This includes 5 units in one level, three duplex and two triplex, and depending on each unit either the patio or terraces with pools or private Jacuzzis will be available for use and enjoyment. The access lobby is a space that has quadruple height and a water mirror, as well as several indirect light entrances in the top deck.

This is the center of the project, and it was born with the idea of simulating a lagoon or a freshwater well, which are typical in the region. The rooftop serves as a complement to the private amenities. In it there is a rooftop pool, a tanning deck and a barbecue area. With the intention to blend with its surroundings, the complex uses natural materials that are typical of the local architecture, such as wood, rock and cement.

AMAYA

아마야(Amaya)는 편안함과 지속가능한 환경을 결합한 미니멀리즘 양식의 콘도 브랜드다. 새로운 아마야 콘도는 멕시코의 대표적인 관광지인 칸쿤에 들어선 곳으로, 리비에라마야(Maya Riviera)의 자연 환경과 연결되는 경험을 선사할 곳이다. 이 아마야 콘도는 마을의 모여 있는 집들에서 영감을 받아 설계됐다. 마을의 매 유닛은 투과성의 감각과 지속되는 외부로의 연결성과 활기 넘치는 툴룸(Tulum)의 열대 초목으로 인해 개인적 독립성을 즐길 수 있도록 설계되어 있다.

콘셉트과 배치는 프로젝트의 내부 경관(공통 영역)과 외부 경관(환경)의 두 가지 환경에 항상 반응함으로써 내부와 외부 공간 사이의 시각적 유동성을 허용하고, 주민들의 사생활을 고려하는 열 개의 적재적인 구성요소들을 기반으로 한다. 각 유닛은 전체 콘도로 봤을 때 특정한 위치를 차지하고 있다.

유닛 각각은 싱글 유닛과 함께 듀플렉스룸, 트리플렉스룸을 포함한 서로 다른 형태로 입면에서 드러난다. 이 야마다 콘도는 4개 층에 72㎡부터 292㎡에 이르는 10개 방의 구조(유닛)로 구성되어 있다. 한 층에 3개의 듀플렉스룸과 2개의 트리플렉스룸으로 구성된 5개의 방을 포함하며, 방에 따라 수영장 또는 거품 만드는 욕조(Private Jacuzzis)를 사용할 수 있는 파티오나 테라스가 있다.

건물로 들어서는 로비는 4층의 높이로, 워터 미러가 있는 공간이며, 추가로 상층 데크에는 몇몇 간접 조명 입구가 있다. 로비는 이 콘도의 중심 공간이며, 이 지역에서만 볼 수 있는 라군(Lagoon)이나 샘(Freshwater well)이 로비 디자인의 요소로 쓰였다.
